Caroline and the slide

Yesterday Keith decided that Caroline needed to be introduced to the slide. So he got Henry and Caroline out the front door and carried Caroline back to the swing set. Henry has some kind of magnet in him that just draws him to the swing set, so Keith didn't have to worry about him. They got out there, Henry climbed up to the fort, and then I looked out to see Keith climbing the ladder while he was holding Caroline. After my heart resumed beating, I grabbed the camera. She loved the slide, at least until Henry went down after her and landed on top of her. She wasn't a fan of that. But the slide, and Keith hauling her around the swingset - she loved those!

Outdoor Fun

We went and hung out in the backyard for a little bit this afternoon, until it started raining. The boys had a blast on the swingset... well, Henry did. Keith said he wasn't having too much fun pushing Henry on the swing, but every time he'd stop Henry would say "More! More, Keith!" and who could turn that down?!?

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

Spring is FINALLY here! Yesterday the high was somewhere around 75 degrees - my kind of weather. Keith played outside ALL DAY LONG, even though he wasn't feeling too hot. He kept saying "but mom, summer is here. I must play" and who am I to argue? So he played. And Henry and I joined him for about an hour. My mom said that Henry would figure out how to get up the swingset ladder and down the slide sometime this summer, but I don't think she meant early April! It took Keith showing Henry what to do once and that was all she wrote.
