Teeth

I was just reading some past posts, and noticed that not even two weeks ago I mentioned that Caroline had three teeth. Want to know how my past two weeks have been? Here's a hint: Caroline now has SIX teeth. Yes, that is six. As in the same number of months old she is. As in more than I can count on one hand. As in more than any six month old NEEDS! Hopefully we'll get a bit of a break on the teething front around here now. Cross your fingers!

The Tooth Fairy is coming!!!!

The tooth fairy will be visiting our house tonight! Yes, Keith has lost his tooth. He woke me up this morning by yelling "MOM! IT'S OUT!!!!" and showing me his tooth. It's now sitting in a shot glass next to my computer awaiting bedtime, which might just be early tonight! I guess my little guy is growing up, huh?!? And yes, I *did* take decent pictures of him showing off his tooth or lack thereof, but when I uploaded them you either couldn't see his eyes because they were closed or couldn't see his tooth because he had his mouth shut. So we were left with this one...

**Update** Keith just informed me that tonight is "the most excitingest night" of his life! I hope the tooth fairy remembers to come!

Are cribs really THAT yummy?

So Henry has found a new teether. His CRIB. The rails, to be exact. Now, I'm all about letting kids explore and all that jazz, but I'm going to have to draw the line at eating the crib. What if we have more kids?!? Where will they sleep?!? And besides, getting your child up from a nap and having to pull paint chips out of his mouth is just not cool. I'm sure my mother would call CPS if she knew. So I went to Amazon. Trusty old Amazon. And first I found this. I don't know about you, but the reviews mentioning crazy glue worried me a bit. I mean, isn't it, I don't know, TOXIC?? As in, DON'T USE NEAR CHILDREN AND PETS? Yeah. So I kept searching. And found this. Much better. You can even attach toys to it! Now, I'm taking bets as to how long it'll stay on the crib before Henry figures out that there's yummy paint chips under it. Or I break out the crazy glue.
